These tools have the flat on the back edge of the tool for use in the sir mechanic extended tool holders
Takes CCMT09 or CCGT09 carbide inserts
Designed using the insert in the neutral position, perfect for chamfering and breaking edges
Comes with one of our CCGT09 line boring inserts for you to try out, these inserts are made from a tougher grade of carbide coated for machining of carbon steels and have a positive rake to minimise tool pressure. in our opinion, you wont find a better insert for line boring.
